Mystery Area
A trench location was selected so as to get a cross section of the earth. There was no reason for choosing this area other than it lined up with west side of the house
| The crew digs down to the clay sub soil. |
Various out-of-place objects begin to appear.
This is where the mystery begins ==> Also, about 10 feet east of the ditch are some soft spots to be explored. They may be related to the mystery. |
| Unexplained rock placement, a terracotta pipe, a large metal cover that has mostly rusted away are very curious. | ||
| Postholes are found in the far end of the ditch.
At the end of the day the site is protected until the next time. |

September 11, 1999 - Tim Rockwell suggests digging along both directions of where the pipes seem to run. The terracotta pipe is easily seen but there is an old deteriorated galvanized pipe running parallel with it.
